What marks are on top of the head? If metric it should be marked 8.8 or 10.9. If standard grade 5 it should have 3 marks and grade 8 would be 5.

Yes, 6. . . . And assuming its metric - none of the above. On metric youll see 5.5, 8.8, 10.9, or 12.9. 12.9 is stronger than Gr8.
