Tues 24th July walk 025.jpgTues 24th July walk 004.jpg
A couple of pics of the lower track and view... you'll be one of the few people to see the view this century as it is too dangerous for tourists to stop due to logging other trucks also using the narrow mountain road above my property.

Be very careful that it is not the Deer Lady or Deer Woman....

Just Say'n..... :laughing::laughing::laughing:

The Deer Woman is from North American Indian lore about a beautiful temptress who is part human and deer. If one does not notice her deer hooves, one falls under her spell and will have a bad end. If you do notice that the pretty woman has deer feet, you can escape. :)

Soooo, if you see a pretty woman at your place......

Make sure she does not have hooves.

Just say'n.

Later,
Dan

yes it is bamboo i call it Elephant food...offered it to our melbourne Zoo but they claim it was the wrong type..lol,
no we dont have beavers, but we do have platypus which are like beavers, however they seem to be rather rare as I've only seen them in our Zoos, we also have possums which are a real menace when they get into the roof spaces of many homes., we also have lots rabbits, foxes another menace to free range chickens, wombats which put a hole in my dam wall causing the leak and loss of about a foot of water; kangaroos, koalas, kookaburras, colourful Rosellas, Bellbirds, and snakes the main reason i decided to get rid of most of Bamboo, obviously not a native plant. And also seems we have deer too...according to you good people, so when my brother said deer I knew immediatly who to ask to confirm his opinion...TBN. I should remove the wire which was used to protect the trees when they were just saplings a few years ago and as the blackberries also took over i could not get into the fenced in area to remove the tree guards. So its another job i need to do when it stops raining.

It sure looks like bamboo and if yours in OZ is anything like ours here, GOOD LUCK! That stuff is almost impossible to get rid of. Nice place by the way.
