I think he has the true 3rd function valve, but regardless, your point seems valid to me, he should press both buttons each in turn with the key on to relieve pressure. Worth a try anyway.

I believe I have a WR Long 3rd function valve. Cost me $800.

There is an electric valve assembly under the tractor near the seat mounts I think.

I changed the back side to 90 degree to prevent the breakage I had.

I am sorry the picture is cropped, but I believe they are already 45 degree on the QD side...

Not sure I understand how that reduces pressure though...

A lot of fitting will reduce pressure somewhat. Some more than others. Far instance, a 90 degree fitting will reduce the pressure, but two 45 degree fitting will reduce the pressure even less. Just a couple of fittings will not make a big difference.
