When I bought my repo 1538, it was missing the top link of the 3 point. I thought 'Eh, I'll pick one up later".
Talked with local dealer and OMG - about $600 for the pieces not including the pins. Looks like Cub Cadet uses the same parts for their 3 point, but I'm not sure about ordering from a place called ereplacementparts - they were about $100 cheaper. Gonna call CC tomorrow.
Doing some more looking around, there are numerous places that sell Cat 1 top links for about $30 - but what length do I need?
Does anyone know what the minimum and maximum length is for the top link on their 1538 3 point?
Currently my 1538 has the back hoe on it and what I would like to obtain is a tilt blade to clean up the ditches along my driveway. Not sure if the 1538 can handle a 7' blade though.
Last year I worked the heck out of the back hoe cutting a good chunk of trail along the back side of our property. Thought about sending the pics to TractorbyNet, but figured I would get hammered about how unsafe it was to work on that steep of a slope. Had to put a sealed battery in the tractor cause battery acid was leaking out on the steep slopes.
Much thanks if anyone can provide the lengths for the top link.
