Yes, the BX25 also takes the Group 26R battery with 535 CCA (AKA524F/22FA).

I put a AutoCraft Silver Battery, Group Size 26R, 575 CCA in my BX2200. Had it for a few years now. Works great!

I got a replacement battery for my BX-25 at Nappa. They might still be open at this hour. They have good hours.

may i ask why bother remove and put battery on a tender? if needed just slide battery out and put on floorboard and tend battery from there. leave everything hooked up.

I have something similar. Not a trickle charger, but a smart low-amperage maintainer. Got one on everything with a battery - with the pigtail permanently installed. Works a treat. Sealed unit, no water/weather issues.

i put the same battery that was on my 2004 bx 1830 and the old battery was still good but didnt trust it and was cheeper at the dealer than the other place and every month i put a low battery charger and the battery is full load all the time and will lass you for a long time
