Need help finding Fiat Trattori 805C service manual

Hi there everyone,

I’m looking for a service direction manual for my Fiat tractor. The clutch is slipping and needs to be adjusted. I have the operators manual which says the master clutch should have a load of 18-20kg to the handle, seems excessive to me.

If anyone has a pdf of the manual, knows how to get one or how to adjust the master clutch, that would be awesome.

I was with a Hesston dealership back when those were sold new as Hesston tractors, along with a number of other Fiat models. They marketed the 605C, 805C, and the 120C. There was a fair amount of interest in them at the time as crawlers were widely used in that area. They weren't bad tractors, but certainly didn't have the lifespan of the old International and Caterpillar tractors from the forties and fifties.

As for the clutch snap over spec, that translates to about 40 lbs of effort on the handle. That might seem like a lot, but it's an over center type clutch and a good snap over is required.
