When I first joined TBN I saw this thread for a personal lift. I kept two pics but didn't know how to save the thread at the time. I've spent probably ten hours over the last two weeks trying to find it with no success. Here are the photos I kept. I'd appreciate any help in finding this thread. Thank You, Guy /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Coupla comments:

Shortly after I joined, TBN went down (hope I didn't cause it) and any posts I'd made changed my name to "Poster" or something like that. It happened to a lot of folks, so it could be lost that way. The post is stil there, but without a name, maybe.

I found a new way to save pics of mods and stuff I want to save. I call it "man lift" for example, and then include the name of the poster in the filename, so I don't have to go through what you are doing (been there, got the t shirt).

Finally, while that man lift would be safer than standing in a bucket, I think it is still very dangerous. One sudden move on the down stick and you will not like the ride.

I would not risk putting anyone in my FEL like that. And I wouldn't trust very many people to hoist me up that way either.

Just my two cents.

Did you find any under archdean.
If so click archdeane on one of them; then when the page comes up click view all users post.

Not the same personal lift but “Spencer” also made one. Might want to find his and see if the other poster jumped in.

Here is a link to all of Spencers post.

Shortened Long Link

MikePA: Please do not use the entire URL as the Link description. It makes the entire thread get very wide.

LBrown59, I don't know how you did it, but your a better man than me!!! Thanks a lot, that is exactly what I was looking for.

RonR, I understand your concern, but in this case, I've worked as a painter & licensed painter's rigger for over 20 years specializing in municipal bldgs, churches etc. and believe me I don't plan on being careless at this point in my life. I just think a rig like this would be handy at times for some jobs. Mine would be a little different as my loader has the ATI quick attach with factory fork setup. I think it would be nice to work off of a platform instead of a ladder. Thanks again for your help, Guy /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
