BX2230
First, thanks for all the great info in this forum. I chose my BX2230 after reading about it on this forum one year ago. I'm back and have used Mayhem's info to install the block of my LA211 FEL, but I need help.

I bought the FEL used and the color coded labels are faded or missing. Please help me connect the correct lines. I copied the line connections to the block as were on the seller's tractor, and I've numbered them one, two, and three in this picture. The green sticker is visible on both pieces of line, so I've connected them. Please tell me which hose (A or B) goes with the lines from two and three. My guess is that hose b belongs with three.

Now, attaching to the loader. If my guess above is right, then the line from "one" connects to what is circled in green. That would make the line from "two" and Hose A connect to the line I colored yellow and the line from "three" with Hose B connects to the red line.

Thanks for any and all help

You will find the answer on page 38 of the LA211 loader parts diagram. This parts manual can be located by clicking here...... If you need the parts book for your BX2230, click here...... The loader that you purchased is a first design loader for the older BX series tractor (1800/2200/22). I can tell this by the type of quick disconnects that are used. I don't know if there are any other changes that were made. Look for a serial number on your loader and always provide that to the dealer when ordering parts to make sure that you always get the correct part. Junk.....

Thank you for the link. I hooked up the remaining lines last night and changed the hydraulic fluid. I'm going to change the oil tonight, and hopefully have time to hookup to the FEL.

My dealer only had standard UDT, and being in a hurry to get everything back together, I used it. I don't use my tractor when its below 40, so I hope the power issue I've read about here is not too bad.

One strange thing is that the one gallon container had a foil seal (which was not sealed) and the 2.5 gal container did not have one at all. Do these items come from Kubota sealed? Also, when I replaced the original filter, I found it to be a blue oil filter painted black, and I had a good deal of metal shavings on my strainer. Anyone else see this, or did my dealer use non-standard parts?
