Cannot tell you all how much I appreciate your replies and all of the information and advice. Waiting on them to finish plumbing changes etc and hope to have the tractor by next week. Will try to post some pics, but I really just wanted to say thanks.

So you bought the Kioti DK45SE? I predict you will really like that tractor. I love my DK50SE. Kioti gives you a lot of tractor for the money.

Just waiting on them to get it finished, then they get the money lol. Glad to hear how satisfied you are with it. Feeling like I made a good choice at this point. I did talk to one of the service guys the day I made the decision and he stated that though they were not seeing a ton of Tier 4 problems, there was no doubt in his mind that given the choice he would strongly prefer a Tier 3.

In my opinion, you absolutely made the right decision going with a Tier 3 tractor regardless of brand.

When you get the tractor, there are a few things you will want to do. For example, the tube that holds the self-leveling rod on the FEL is notorious for unscrewing itself on new tractors and getting bent. You will want to loosen it up, put some blue loctite on it and tighten it back down.

Also, the throttle lever is too stiff on a lot of them. You could ask your dealer to lubricate it for you, or you could do it yourself following the excellent primer in the following thread:

Finally, read this thread and check the retaining/keeper bolts that hold the pin in each of the lower 3 point lift arms. I had one of the keeper bolts come loose and narrowly averted disaster. Here's the thread with pics:

Don't let any of this worry you. It's a great tractor and any tractor will have a few "teething" issues initially. The lift arm keeper bolts and the self-leveling tube issues are 5 minute fixes even if you take your time. I haven't even lubricated my throttle yet, but I need to and intend to do it soon (before spring arrives).
