We've recently inherited a Deutz 4006 tractor and we are new to working on tractors.
We are currently trying to replace the starter but we are having a problem taking it off the
tractor. One edge of the starter is bumping up against a metal hydraulic hose
(see picture) while the other end of the starter has to get over a small metal collar.
Is there a special trick to getting this starter off? Or do we just pry it off using a
screw driver? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
