Need Help with Farmall Tires

My 53 Farmall Super a has the Original 9-24 inch tires on it... A Neighbor has a Great Pair of 12 - 24 AG tires for sale for $300, dosen't know what they came off.. So can anyone tell me Definitely , Will The 12-24 Tires Fit on My Super A Rims and work well or Not?

My Dad's 1950 C had 10-36 tires on it when it was new. Every tire we put on it over the years (he used it until about 1990) was 11.2-36. Going from 9-24 to 12-24 on the same rims seems a little extreme, though.
