Need help with plow?

That looks like a dearborn to me, very collectable to the ford N crowd. I bought one ten years ago for $200 without coulters for my 2N. They are absolutely correct in that the tractor should spin before damage is done.
Mine worked very well, but you might want to use a ripper near those trees first and no 4WD!!!

Just a reminder, the Ford n's were rated at 21 hp, you are still quite a bit larger than that... Ya might want to keep it shallow at first, limits how much grabbin the plow will do. I still recommend ripping the heck out of it first.

Unless the undergrowth is knee high or taller, those coulters will take care of the sod. Plow on :) Ken Sweet

Hi guys i have found a 2 bottom plow the guy dosent no much about it. I was wondering if anyone knows what kind it is? and if its worth $175. dollars. What do i need to look for ? What can go wrong with them? I would want to use it for food plots right away. Thanks in advance .

if its all there thats one **** of a deal. They are usually around $250 for a double at the lowest i see them for sale. Some say between $100-$150 a bottom on price.

BB will work , lower the rippers all the way and shorten your top link up to get deeper penetration. The soil/grass/sod clods will gather up in the box though and you have to keep lifting it to clear it unless you let it flow out the top. I know i have tried ripping with the BB. Im bar dirt or killed grass it will work fairly well, i put a new flower bed in at the house ripping roundup killed grass with nothing but the rippers on my BB. Granted the clods were big in the red clay but it softened it enough to dig holes for flowers then was covered in pinestraw.
