Need Help!!

Hi to all!
I am a horse owner on a 25 acre acreage.I need a tractor for moving snow,and just big enough that I could move around round bale.I would need 4x4 and a cab,In the 20000-30000 price range.What do you all recomend?

Depending on your local tractor market and whether you want new or used, I would think a 50 HP. tractor would be just fine and if you want to move snow you would want a front end loader with a quick attach so you could use a blower, plow, bucket or hay spear or a cheaper way would be to use the 3 point hitch for a hay spear, blower or back blade. So much of this is your own preference but with your budget you should have no problem.

If you look at used ones, you may be OK, but to get what you named; i.e., cab, 4WD, and big enough to lift round bales, it might be tough to find something in your price range. If you want to use something like a Hay King 3-point hay spear instead of lifting round bales with a front end loader, you might have a better chance of stayng within your budget.

4wd and a cab puts you into an 80's+ machine if looking used.

I agree that a 45 or so hp machine will be where you want to look.. anything smaller is dicey with rounds.
