Need Information on Kubota lawn tractor before I buy.

I may have an opportunity to buy a very nice Kubota GR2100 lawn tractor. It's a 2006 model. Very low hours. Guy bought it used it for a couple of years then passed away. Been sitting in a garage for five or six years. I have searched the web seeking information regarding how well these tractors have held up over the years and it seems like the "Complaint" sites are loaded with people really upset with these GR2000 and GR2100 series tractors. Is it that only the bad news get posted? Are these tractors really that bad? I sure as heck don't want to be stuck with a white elephant. A lot of complaints about the transmissions. Seems that the GR2110 series came out because of the transmission issues. Anyone on this site have one of these tractors who have not had a problem or should I just steer clear of them altogether?
