Need input on off-road log trailer

Thanks for all the input. The trailer is about 90% done. Just need to finish welding the tongue and paint it. Also built a log grapple which works great. I will post pictures when the trailer is done.

rogdan, old thread and I'm a little late to the party but here are pics of my trailer. It has been working great so far. Now I just need to get it back from my neighbours who keep borrowing it for their wood.

rogdan, you'll never learn any younger and a mig is pretty easy to learn how to use and reasonable to buy. I build tons of stuff that I would never be able to afford to buy.
The trailer works great and being able to cut it right on the trailer sure saves alot of handling. If you seen the other pics you can see some of the stuff I've bought or built to make firewood easier. Not cheaper but easier.
