Need Insight/Advise on Changing Well Pressure Tank

Building my own house gave the luxury of doing things just different enough because I knew someday I would be the one having to repair stuff. My pressure tank has a shut off then a union and a drain on the pipe that goes to it. I can shut off the water going to the tank and drain just it out when the time comes (and it will) when I have to replace the PT.

That is my philosophy also. Fix it right the first time and things are very simple the next time around. If you have a reoccurring problem, solve the problem and be done with it. In a few years, you have no more problems.
