I dont think you can get a mid PTO on the L series Kubota.

No PTOs on Standard Ls.

Mid-PTOs optional on Grand Ls; primarily but not exclusively for front snow equipment.

I was not sure if it was an add on option or not. I read on some random site that it was, so figured I would ask.

Your location should be part of your T-B-N PROFILE, so it shows every time you post.

(Central Idaho, Upstate New York, Rhode Island, sufficient.)

If you post an exact location members quite often correspondents to good, used tractors nearby.

I am in Easley SC. I will update my info now.

I think the pedals should have been reversed as to match a vehicle pedals. Just seems like a safety issue to me. But I do like the separate pedals.

What is the MMM?

MMM is mid mount mower. An option (with center pto also) on the kioti - but on the bigger units that setup can run $2500 plus..I can get a new zero turn for about that and not be hassled with deck on/deck off. My kubota had a drive over deck, but no loader - so moving the 250lb deck when off the machine was a PITA, and as it aged the alignment of pins and such wasn't as sweet as when it was new. And I'm not as young as I once was...this bending/stooping/crawling around under a tractor sucks. And it had to come off for any rear PTO work...

So the new tractor I skipped any MMM. Figured if I needed to mow I'd get a 3 point finish mower used/cheap or a zero turn.

Not sure if buying a low end zero turn is good advice. Price point lawn mowers are not known for longevity. If you research the folks that are truly knowledgeable with zero turn mowers, the going price range for quality is closer to $6k, and it requires storage space + one more machine to maintain. They utilize lower echelon hydro drive motors, often W/O proper cooling fans and basic minimal hp engines lacking cast iron cylinder sleeves and electronic fuel injection . The tires are a smaller scale and front yokes are not servicable. The mower decks are shallow and stamped type. Price point, indeed for a reason. Zero turns are one trick ponys, that now faster until they let you down. A bargain delivers that for which you we willing to pay.

^^ I'll keep at least one of my LTs and both push mowers for detail mowing. The LTs can do some minor trailer hauling as long as there isn't much weight. There will be a few places on hills between trees that the SCUT won't be able to mow, so the LTs will do that also.

I personally see very little use for ZTs outside of basically flat open spaces.
