I had seen this comment also about the bucket controls. It would be a pain to have to start and stop for each movement change. That is another big item on my list.

That would be something to test if you ever do some test drives with different brands.

It has also been talked about a lot on this forum
Dealer Dealer Dealer
If you have a bad Dealer what good is the tractor and have to Argue every time you need something done.

Find a Dealer that you like and that is possibly close.

I had a bad experience with the Local John Deere dealer and it was not
even about tractors. So when it came to me buying they were not even one for me to consider.

I walked in off the street with no knowledge to our local Kubota Dealer and after 2 hours of them answering my questions and them asking me questions I did not even look at Mahindra , Massy Case , Ford or any of the others.

I found my match.

Do some homework and find a Dealer that you click with.

As Spock would say, that's completely logical. like everything else the nearest tractor dealers are 90 miles away in two different directions, so a tractor would have to need pretty serious work before it went back to them.

Thanks for all the helpful info/opinions. I have broadened my search a little more now and came across a Kioti CK4010. This seems to be the best of both worlds that I was looking at. Kioti has the quick attach loader, SSQA loader, 3 range HST, weights in about 50 pounds less than the Kubota, options for backhoe and mid mount PTO (have about talked myself out of that option but it's good to know it's capable) and it has the dual pedals for forward / reverse. The biggest point is I can get "more" tractor for a little less than the other two brands. I still want to look at a few other brands but what is everyones opinion on the Kioti CK4010 or possibly the CK3510?

I just recently purchased a ck3510. I was in the same dilemma as you as to which brand to buy. In my opinion Kioti was the best of both worlds. I wasn't a fan of the treddle peddle and don't understand why Kubota uses that style. I also wanted the SSQA which opens up a whole world of attachments. I plan on using the loader to its capabilities so the stronger loader on the Kioti had me leaning that way as well. Also the big hump in the middle of the 3901 was not a deal breaker, but was kind of an annoyance getting on and off the machine. The Kiotis floor is a lot more flat. I've only owned mine for about 2 months so take this for what its worth. I'm happy with Kioti, has more than enough power, strong loader, and has done the tasks I have tackled so far with ease. I would suggest loading the rear tires as well.

Thanks! I have a buddy with a Kioti CK35. Not sure if that's the older version of the CK3510 but I do know that he has pushed it beyond the intended limits and it's still going strong. The only downfall about his is the backhoe seemed a little under powered. Maybe it's because he was pushing it beyond it's limits. Non the less, it still got the job done with a little more time. How smooth is the bucket operation and can you lift and curl at the same time? Did you buy just the tractor or a package deal? Do you mind saying what you paid for it? If you was looking at the 3901, what made you decide on the 3510 instead of the 4010?

The kioti loader valve is smooth while multitasking in my experience. My biggest complaint is the bucket sucks.

From what I have read these compact backhoes aren't made for what a lot of ppl want to do with them, I wanted a backhoe too, but from reading a lot of posts about them, not to mention the $7000 to add one, I figured I could rent a small excavator and get the work done faster and not worry about breaking my own equipment. bucket operation is great the lift and dump or lift and curl is a tad slow but it will do it which is a must if doing a bunch of work. So a local Kioti dealer quoted me a little over $20000 for a ck4010 for the tractor and bucket before tax. I found a 2018 ck3510 with 12hrs on craigslist it a little over an hour away from me the guy was asking $17000. I knew every tractor for sale online within 200 miles of me the day it was posted so I jumped on that one. For that reason i have a ck3510 not a 4010. if it was 12hr 4010 I would own that. I have the exact same warranty as the guy who bought it new 2 months prior, and saved $5000
