I'm glad you found this before it destroyed the front hub gears.

I wonder if any other first-time buyer would recognize what they did.

I wish him the best with his purchase. If they didn't know the wrong tires were on the tractor.. What else do they not know about the tractor that may be wrong ?? Internal engine parts , etc, ?

I assume he got only the 90 day warranty ? If so, I would work the snot out of it for those 90 days.

well i have been busy trying to work my new baby hard to flush out any problems but it has been fruitless, this thing just flat out ROCKS!!! i dug prob 400' of french drains the first day. i kept lowering the throttle down trying to bog her down and at 1,000 rpms with the 12" bucket in very hard rocky soil it just digs and digs and digs.... i was pulling boulders out of the ground as big as 36" like they were nothing. so far i am ecstatic with this machine! the only problem i had was the tach was working but the hour meter was not moving. one call to rodney and they came to my house the next business day and swapped it out.

i also saw where someone said they saw a tractor with a flat tire on their lot in my pic and i can assure you they all have brand new tires and i never saw any flat tires... the only thing i can figure is the tractor in the very back of the lot was down hill and someone mistook it as being flat.

in any event, i am so glad that i got the 50hp machine and for prob 30k less than a new O, G or R tractor.

here is a pic of me lifting my car hauler just out of curiosity. tractor was idling at 750 rpm's. it would have gone as high as i wanted but i barely had the corner of the bucket under the back of the trailer. after i redo the brackets on my pallet forks that were made for the kubota i just sold, i am going to start lifting any and everything i can find!

NIce. And that is probably some of the best service for a VN dealer!!! Sent guys to your house to fix the hour meter!!! And didnt do some BS of charging your labor or something.

I'll say that's better service. The 2500 had a Hyd. leak under Warranty. It was Return it to the Dealer or Repair it yourself. If parts were needed they would UPS. them. I was in no condition to be hauling a Tractor 50 miles each way and all the Fathers could say was it had a puddle of oil under it. After talking the Wifey into letting my Son drive me,Lucky it was a easy fix.
Was told that apparently someone must have left the Serv.Stop Valve shut since the leak was the Hyd line, O-Ring at the Pump. The Valve was open and the Hyd. line at the Pump was loose!! Tightened it up a Couple of Turns and it quit leaking.
After that I was glad I bought my 2000 ASIS.. 75.00$ Starter Rebuild and a fancy paint job is all I gave up. Still haven't had to add any Air to the Original tires in 6yrs. Yet!!

i will admit it took some convincing to get the home visit on my part. the tractor comes with 90 day parts and labor and 180 days of labor only, this covers everything including leaks! i feel like they take good care of me.
