Snow Attachments Need snow removal advice

/ Need snow removal advice #41
I plow 2 miles of private mountain road in Northern Idaho. I started with a Kubota 3830 with a front mounted blower and rear blade. I found blowing snow to slow not to mention shearing lots of pins eating rocks. I ended up using the rear blade while driving backwards down the mountain, otherwise the weight of the snow pushed the tractor around (even with chains on all four wheels. I was able to keep the road open, but usually it was an all day job and I ended up with a sore neck. Last January I upgraded to a heavier tractor (Kubota M5040) with an 8 foot AnBo snow blade mounted on the front loader along with filled tires all around and Trigg studded ice chains on all four wheels. No more worries about rocks, no more sore neck, and I've cut my plowing time in half. It's already been said, but I'll re-iterate, for a big job you need big equipment.
