I would think the used piece 9 hours away would be gobbled up by someone like yourself, only nearby. This is not a collectable piece, I would think a trader or dealer would be on the prowl for a bargain.
I mentioned to another post the Ohio Power Equipment Show is coming up 1/30-31, 2/1 (Fri-Sat-Sun), Columbus, Ohio. Also someone mentioned a show coming up in Louisville,Ky.
Based upon your needs, I would agree something in the 35-40HP range. I have a JD 4500 (39HP 4WD) which is great, I looked at NH at the time, the dealer sold me on the JD. This particular dealer sold both and JD and NH.
I have observed since that purchase in 1999, the presense of Kubota has increased dramatically in the surrounding area. I was told that Kubota has shown a willingness to do business and help the dealer make a profit that green and blue have not. If I was buying new today orange would certainly be a consideration, if the dealer run a quality business. I am very particular about how the dealer operates and more importantly how they take care of their customers. My father always said service would be remembered long after the price is forgotten.
When is Marshall going to play WVU?
