Need to buy a new UTV, wow there's alot!?

An ATV would be nice, but we really need the bed to carry stuff and it needs to be drivable by more people then just me.

i suggest the arctic cat 1000 xtz......600lbs in the bed, bed it bigger, VERY sporty and VERY utility both.....has low range with diff. lock and with 951cc i honestly don't know how you'd stop it from pulling......i guess it would just bury it's self....

however, for what you are wanting to do i look for a used rhino....they are starting to come down in price.....for a while, they were as much used, as the new ones.....it's getting better, though...

rhinos are extremely well built.....as a matter of fact i have a buddy with one for sale......i'm sure he'd deal on it right now as he has some other "toys" he's looking at......pm me if you want more info....

from the sounds of it, i'd stick to a rhino, teryx or a prowler......they are much more capable on the hills and trails than the strict utility utvs.....

I feel liek a recreational utility vehicle isnt going to be as rugged as we need.

For example we jsut had 14 trees go down near our creek, some in the creek. A few of the trees jsut a piece that would fit in the bed would weigh 500lbs alone.

Why don't you look at the Cub again? The new Volunteer's are really neat. And the suspension/ride is unreal. You can get the Diesel in them now as well.

So we've found a Ranger Crew 08 that we link. Its 10400 with 60 hours on it.

It was getting serviced and they messed the idle up on it so they were going to get it reflashed. We're going to go test it again Saturday. We are real worried about the steering and my mother being able to drive it.

Drove the 09 and it was 20x easier to steer then the 08 crew was.

I have an older Honda Forman ATV and it has been bullet proof. That said, I really want to trade up to a UTV. The extra hauling and comfort are very appealing.

I have done a bit of checking and really like the Polaris Ranger. The Kioti that is coming out this year is appealing too but it's going to be the lemon year and that always scares me. Now even Subaru has one at TSC. Everybody is in the game. How on earth do you know what to get?

I guess I'll stick with one of the proven lines like Ranger or Yamaha or something.

A utv has 2-6 seats, car style, and a dump bed. An ATV has 1 seat, motorcycle style, and only a few have dump beds.

Nice place, seems quite and private. In that one photo you have, plenty to do. I saw a leaner (tree) that could be dangerous and course bushhoggin the stream bank. Looks like fun.

If you like these, check out Husqvarna and Club Car, as Club Car makes Bobcat and Husqvarna. They are really the same thing, so whatever dealer is closest. But, the Husqvarna does not have (to my knowledge) the front attachment system that Bobcat and CC have.

If that question was directed to me, then I'd probably say UTV. But it really depends on what you're doing.
