My vote went to the Kubota 520, and I'm very happy with it.
It's much improved over the Kubota 500 that I also own.

Never heard of that problem, know my dealer well too so would of heard.....I suspect it was abuse with too many trainee drivers. We have a fleet of the Kubota SxS's here at the University and my brother is the director over the shop that maintains all these units along with the tractors. When I was looking at a Kubota SxS last year, he talked me out of it saying that he can't keep transmissions in them and they are extremely expensive to replace. It's possible it's just abuse from the people using them but it was enough to scare me off. I have no direct experience with them so my info is nothing more than input from another...
^This! Is your place a swamp??Why are you considering the mud machine Can Am Defender X MR??
It you'd loketo do trail rides, I'd recommend not getting one with a hydrostatic drive.Hello all,
So, I really could use a utility side by side for around my 8 acres. Mainly for fence repair, general maintenance, irrigation repairs and target setting out to my 200 yard range. And of course some trail riding while camping.
