If they did bump the brakes up it would be one thing, but usually they don't case in point my 15 ram 1500 came with 20" wheels but 17" wheels clear the brakes easily.
So they couldhave upgraded the brakes considerably but did not.
I believe that you will find that to be the case most times.

Very possible. Usually not the case in fast cars and heavy PUs.

Most of that is already done, if you use google maps. They know where i work, where i live, route i take, stores i go to. This is old and existing, not future. Be afraid of the google, not big brother.

Were tracked already, do I like it no. But the only way away from it, is to be 100% off the grid, and a lot of those that strive to be off the grid arent truly off the grid.

A lot of people are paranoid as well and dont understand what data collection means at times. Yes somebody could reach down possibly and see John Doe is in his living room right now on his phone, true to an extent. But people fail to realize is a lot of data is sold or looked at as an aggregate or is non de-script. Of course the more you have online the more somebody can steal, problem is your electric and gas bill alone has a ton of information on you. Its wise to safeguard and be careful, but to be paranoid about is a fools errand.

Low profile tires have never made sense to me, particularly on a truck. One (only?) advantage of a larger wheel and low profile tire is that it gives the manufacturer more room for the brakes, but besides that the cost and ride really suffers.

truck no, maybe. But they make sense on a sports car they turn easier and corner better. Low pro tires also get better MPG.

Not sure I buy that either...

Take a look at Indy car tires, they have a Whole lot more sidewall than the low profile craze that is sweeping the automotive industry. Indy cars can exceed 2Gs laterally and they don't need or use low profile to do it.

large wheel low profile also increases unsprung weight at each corner

I don't doubt the mpg can be better on LoPro tires though.

Lo Profile is definitely IN as far as a fad or what seems to be in style right now.

You cant equate race cars to street performance. Race cars need meat for the simple fact of wear low profile wouldnt do that. Big thing on low profile is you get a stiffer shorter sidewall which makes for less of that rolling feel on thicker sidewalls. I have a truck and have a challenger, would I want low profile on the truck no, on the car yes. And yes shorter tire should mean better mpg.

Ive had sports cars since the 80s and they always have been low pros. While yes they seem to be on everything they arent new in the sports car world.

Any vehicle I ever drove went around corners just fine.

Well , maybe not the Polaris Ranger I drove with the solid rear axles.

I used to drive Ex Police vehicles and see how fast those Pursuit Radials could go around an on or offf ramp.
