Around here, alloy OEM rims can be found almost daily on Craigs List, and pretty economical as well

That's what I would do if I wanted them for an older truck. However, it wouldn't seem right to put used rims on a brand new pickup.
Low profile tires have never made sense to me, particularly on a truck. One (only?) advantage of a larger wheel and low profile tire is that it gives the manufacturer more room for the brakes, but besides that the cost and ride really suffers.
