At 700 pounds I wonder if it might be too heavy for a CUT???

Have you looked at the best strength to weight ratio grapple? Everything Attachments Compact Utility Root Grapple 50"

It would be too heavy for your tractor. I would look at a EA wicked grapple like xfaxman linked.

I'm working on a grapple decision myself. I'm pretty sure I want to keep it 60" or less and I'm liking the idea of a single piece top instead of two. The 50" WRG is nice, but with an opening of only 30", I feel like it would be too small to grab a big pile of brush. The W R Long Grapple 2 in 48" wide is light weight and opens 44". I'm leaning in that direction myself.

Yes I agree on my L3400. I'm hoping to upgrade to an LS XR4046HC sometime this year and want the grapple for it, but I'd still worry about the weight for even that tractor.

Bought a bunch of skid loader attachments from Neon. Good outfit, looked like quite a bit in stock last time I was there.
