Just recieved my 2210 fel,rmm 60" Frontier , 54 in front blade also had industrial tires instead of turf .
I only had about 15 min or so to even try ,because of course it had to rain just minutes after it was unloaded.
I still had to try one time mowing and I was surprised about power . It had everything and more. When I engaged the mower there was no conparison to the 425 I had sold. It will take a little getting use to mowing with a rear after almost 30 yrs with a mid mount I just could not see crawing under the tractor to attach mower when it could go on the 3 point.

Love it
The seat will be changed new x585 seat should ne Thur.

etcallhome,

Congrats on the purchase! I too went from a 425 to a 2210 and agree the power difference is huge! This spring when I put the 62C MMM on the tractor, greasing and lubing everything etc, I tested the PTO on the tractor at idle (it was early and I didn't want to wake anyone up). Amazingly the deck engaged with nary a protest. There was no way the 425 could have engaged even the 54C deck at idle without stalling. That is torque. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I always engage my pto equipment at idle. I believe that the manual suggests you do that also. But I may be mistaken.....old age ya know.
