So I've had the tractor for a few days and used it some. It seems like it's fixed but it did the last two times I've got it back. So we will need some time to find out the rest of the story. I contacted JD customer service again in hopes of getting some help from them for a trade. I talked to Jeff, the same guy I talked to last time that told me he would have the rep contact me on January 4th. I've never heard from him. I called Jeff out on not following through with his word and he seemed offended. I said where I came from if you tell someone your gonna do something and don't that's lying. I know the dealer has let the rep know I wanted to talk to him and Jeff also. His name is Joe and he told Jeff that they gave the extended warranty and that was it. Not once has he tried to contact me. The problem I have is not with the dealer it's with the manufacturer. I would think that the field rep from a reputable company would want to talk to someone that has had two new tractors catastrophically fail in a year. I'm not asking for the world here. All I want is some trade concessions so I can get out from under this tractor and get another one and they won't even talk to me. I am asking for advice or opinions on what I should do next. The tractor has had the following replaced since I bought it: entire front end, loader valve, backhoe valve, backhoe stabilizer jacks, brakes, bearings, restrictor valves, and front tires. Should I take the extended warranty and bend over or should I pursue litigation. Thanks
