Hiya folks. Please be patient with me, newbie here and very new to the world of tractors. I been reading on here as much as I can and it is a wealth of info, even if I don't understand a lot of it.

Hopefully I won't bore you but like others, I would like some good opinions on a decision I am about to make in joining the Green family. I just priced out a 3320 and am wondering how this price sounds.

New 3320 with cab, R4 tires loaded, 300CX with 73" hvy duty bucket with cutting holes for cutting edge, Frontier 54" 3 point rear snowblower, I also added a rear windshield wiper and lights...price was $36,807 and would get it for $30,500 cash price.

I plan on mainly using the tractor for load work ie: mulch, loam, gravel, some clearing of scrub trees etc., snow (700' driveway and areas in and around house not easy to plow), and maintaining driveway ie: grading. This will be used mostly in Maine where it snows pretty good. Have smaller mower for lawn area so no need for mower attachment.

Also, any help or suggestions if this size tractor and set-up is overkill for what I am looking to do and/or is there something I should be looking to add or do differently? I appreciate any info I can get and I know this is another "is this a good price" post but no better place than here to get a good answer from what I have seen. Thanks in advance.

I have a similar setup, except no blower. Mine came to $27500 w/rear blade. One thing I did not see listed, if you are getting rear SCV for the blower chute.

If you plan on doing grading I would either get a rear blade or rear box blade as well. I am sure other's with more experience than I can give you better suggestions.

Thanks Mike. I found another post on here I didn't see before that says if you get something like 15-17% off, you are doing good. I may be in that range and sounds like you got a good deal.

As for the box, that is a future item and thanks for the heads up. Looked at it and it seems it would be a good way to go for what I would be doing. Appreciate the input.

Four suggestions:

Look at a snow blower at least as wide as widest setting for your tires - probably minimum 60."

Look at ordering the 3 rd Rear SCV & Hard Line Kit for the FEL for only a few $$$ more to give greater flexibility for FEL mounted implements. E.G Power Angle Snow Blade.

Look at Power Beyond if you ever think a BH or any other hydraulic operated implements might be in your future.

For $100 consider Auto Cruise control including the other 3 control buttons included.

I'm biased - a 3320 is a great toy.

Cinder, thanks for the tips. The width with the tires is a couple of inches shorter than the snowblower I looked at so I think I got that covered, I hope. The way I understood the dealer was I would be getting a control to use in the cab for the snowblower for rotating the chute and I saw a 3rd SVC on the list too. Hope that's what you mean?

Well I have R3's so they measure a bit different, but here are the specs for R4's from the 3320 Owners Manual

Overall Width w/ 15.00-19.5 R4 Tires (Minimum) 1.4 m (57.3 in.) Overall Width w/ 15.00-19.5 R4 Tires (Maximum) 1.5 m (58.9 in.)

If you really are getting a 54" Blower - might want to check this again.

I agree, the 54" blower is too narrow. 60" minimum and better to go 66-72". Doesn't cost much to go wider blower. You have enough hp.

Nuru...haven't done a deal yet. Been still pricing and looking. Want this for use at a home I am having built and it is almost finished. Learned a few more things reading here and may do the deal in the spring. Still going with 3320/cab.
