started it monday & it has plenty of power to lift tractor /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
but it still seams weak /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif / with a full bucket the boom won,t
lift unless you curl the bucket first wich it has a hard time doing , this is my first tractor (& post )
could there be air in the system ? that is bleeding itself out ?
any info would be much Appreciated Thanks A27h

The guick attach places the bucket a bit further out and will reduce your capacity a little. You didn't mention what you were trying to lift, was the wieght over the capacity? Did you call your dealer?

Welcome to TBN. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

You may need to run engine above 2000 RPM’s to get maximum lift.

When loading the bucket use the curl to breakout the load that you are trying to pickup. Then raise the loader.

I doubt that there is air in the system. Moving curl and raising the loader through its full cycle will usually remove all air form the cylinders. You may want to check that trans is full of Super UDT oil. I'm not sure how to check the level on your tractor. My B2910 has a dipstick.

At idle the leakage in most hydraulic pumps to too great and prevents it from building pressure.

On the tractor I use the most, there is a 10 or 15 second delay when lifting the front end for it to switch from float I assume.

With a full bucket, normally you have to curl first to break out the dirt before lifting it. This is the same on almost all loaders.

/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif HI I KNOW WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR TRACTOR. WE HAD THE SAME THING WRONG WITH OURS. IT IS THE PRESSURE SET TO LOW. THE DEALER NEEDS TO PUT A SHIM KIT IN IT. I CAN GIVE YOU MORE DETAILS IF YOU WANT TO GIVE ME A CALL. 231-525-6658. WE HAD THE RUN AROUND WITH OUR DEALER TO. BUT I E-MAILED KUBOTA AND THEY TOLD ME HOW TO HAVE IT FIXED. WE HAVE THE SAME TRACTOR AS YOU. OURS HAS A CAB I THINK YOURS DOES TO? HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU SOON

I have a couple year old 4310HSTC, and it too has weak loader capacity. I've owned 7 brand new JD tractors and have used the loader extensively on them over the years and have a really good feel for their lift. I really like the Kubota tractor, especially the cab, (which is why I left JD after being a life long customer) but I am really disappointed in their loader capacity. I have a 5' bucket and it will lift it full of wet dirt (mud), but not much more. I had a 6' bucket on my JD 4600 and it would lift a heaping bucket of wet clay at a dead idle with no problems and had a tremendous amount more break out power. If there is a way to turn up the power in the Kubota loader, I'd like to know. If not, when JD comes out with a cab in a comparable tractor (if they ever do) I'll probably go back to green. I'd rather not. I even sold my JD Gator after having 3 of them and bought an RTV because it seemed nicer and better built. The reason I mention that is because the Gator's would dump quite a bit more with their screw drive lift than the RTV will dump with their hydrolic lift. I've used the exact same bucket to load dirt from the exact same pile in both the RTV and the Gator and, without any doubt, the Gator has a stronger dump. That fact makes me think that Kubota is nice, but weak on power. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

First thing to do is to check the fluid level. Next would be the pump pressure at around 2000 rpm's. You should have no problem lifting your tractor with the bucket or lifting the bucket with a load. The other item to check would be the wrong pistons (too small diameter) for the loader.

Jim I agree. It's almost as though the pressure is set on Kubotas to spec and after "X" number of hours when the pump(s) break in, expect a 500 PSI or better decrease. I up'd the pressure in my L48 after 150 hours. It was enough to pretty much take my toothbar and rack the teeth all over the place. I suggest you check your pressure(s), when you look at a LA 723 or LA 853 and compare the "beef" to a JD 430 or 460, the conclusion would have to be, load the Kubota up, it's got the beef. I plan to do it and will let you know what pressure I have now versus what it should or could be. Rat...

If you could tell me how to up the pressure on my Kubota, please do. I own one and like it, but it is not even in the same league as the JD's I've had on loader operation. My 4310HSTC currently has only about 190 hours on it. Needless to say, it's weak loader is quite disappointing to me. It is unfortunately weaker than the JD's without any doubt. I'm definitely open to suggestions; other than buy a new tractor. I'd love nothing more than you to prove me wrong by telling me how to get some power out of my Kubota.

I have a L4330 HST with LA853 and it will lift my tractor at idle. I remember asking my dealer about a cab, and he said something about a modification to the hydraulics or a special kit... I thought it had more to do with clearance of the loader control and the cab, but I really can't remember. I didn't get the cab since I purchased a backhoe.
