Hi John....
That field you see in the background I keep cut with my JD425 garden tractor....it's very therapeutic driving around in big circles while it gives me downtime to sort through a lot of thoughts in my head about life in general. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif It takes about an hour or so to cut. What you don't see is a field behind where I was when I took the picture that takes another hour to cut./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif All told, I spend about 9-10 hours on the 425 with each lawn cutting every 2 weeks or so during cutting season.
I got the 4710 and all these attachments for the real mean stuff that's in the back fields that you can't see and which my tenant farmer doesn't till. Also, plenty of hedgerows that will be removed are on the 'Things to do List' over the next couple of years as I want to try to open all the fields up to agricultural production.
Thanks for the tips about raising the implements off the ground. I plan on storing them in five sheltered bays I have on the rear side of the barn. The smaller attachments I'll rest on pallets...the MX6 I'll try what you suggest.
Thanks again for all your counsel.
Bob
