I was quoted $24,900 for a new model 5103 4WD with 522 loader.

I would get a 5105 at that price - proven, already here, more PTO hp, and "made in the USA" (though presumably with many foreign parts). But of course I'm biased as a 5105 owner!

If you go to the www.deere.com website (as of July 27th anyway), they now have specs for the NEW 500x series tractors, as well as comparisions. Looks like the entire website is now operating like it did before the new model introductions. FYI.

Everything works.... if you use the configurator to build the tractor and accessorize it. However, if you attempt to add attachments -- FEL, ect. -- you get a blank white screen.
At least, that has been my experience the last several times I've logged in to the JD site get some idea of the MSRP of the new '03 models (with FEL and other add-on equipment).
But, earlier I couldn't even get the configurator to work when trying to "build your own" for the new '03's. So, they're making progress...
