I was to my dealer this weekend and had a chance to look at other new B's with loaders. All the loaders had the same welds and paint that my loader does. That being said, the paint and welds on some of the other equipment Kubota sells, (larger new tractors in inventory and older model used tractors) was somewhat better than on my tractor. I also had a chance to speak the area Kubota rep. late last week. I got the song and dance, what do you expect, its a tractor. When I told him of the peeling decals on my new equipment, he blamed RAD for not cleaning the area before applying them and if it was not RAD my dealer probably steam cleaned the blower and that is why it is peeling. Basically he said it is not Kubota's fault. He started getting somewhat riled up the more questions that I asked him about all these minor quality control problems. I really was not happy with the way that I was treated by the rep. and will be letting Kubota know. My dealer told me to do the same thing. When I take my tractor to the dealer for my 50 hour, they are going to submit warranty claim for the really poor paint on the snowblower crank mount, the one problem that is pretty easily fixed. I can live with the rest as long as function is not impaired. I will have to write down the serial numbers on my equipment because I am sure that the tags will go missing soon enought and the parts man always has to have a serial to lookup by. At this point, I am just frusterated in the response I have gotten when I raised concerns. No one has actually seen the defects that I have issue with. They just tell me on the phone that it is fine or whatever. I hope that this is an isolated case of a poor rep. and not represenative of KTC as a whole. I am pleased to say Kubota finance and insurance have been very helpful in dealing with some paperwork issues that have comeabout with this purchase.
