The decals can be glued backed down and Kubota can either replace or repaint your crank bracket. I had to repaint the whole hydro pedal on my old Kubota as all the gray paint on the contact surface peeled off over time. I'd say you have some very minor issues and perhaps a more major one with the loader. You shouldn't have to deal with these things, but they are made by human beings and perfection is a goal seldom achieved.

I purchased a B2920 with FEL, MMM, and a BH with Thumb a couple months ago. I now have over 70hrs on the rig. I do remember a couple very small scratches, but all in all the paint looked great. Keep in mind I was moving up from a B7100 I have owned for 25 years. The welds on the loader and the backhoe look just like the photo's in Bandaman's thread. I also have welding splatter on front guard and BH. I didn't even notice the welds or splatter till I read the thread, and had owned it 2 months. Honestly, they don't bother me. My previous tractor gave me many years of great service and I expect this one will also. I paid my hard earned cash for the quality engineering that goes into these products. The cosmetics are superficial. Quite simply...it is just a piece of equipment I enjoy using and it makes my quality of life better.

I agree with most of the folks about the welds should look better, and the splatter is silly.....but neither will effect the service I receive from the equipment nor the dealer. I don't earn a living with tractor, nor do i plan on selling it for many years.

Purchased my 2620 in the end of June. When test driving I noticed a couple scratches on the ROPS where they fold. I pointed it out to the salesman and he had them touched up before delivery. I had this problem with my first tractor purchase which was a New Holland didnt notice them until after delivery as I was new to tractors and didnt think to look over very well. I luckily learned my lesson this go around so I was very thorough in looking it over. The welds on mine are actually very smooth so no issue for me here. I now have 45 hard hrs. on mine (from 7/1 till mid Nov) and I have had no problems w/ the stickers. Also I purchased 2 implements at the time of purchase (one was a perfect match Kubota Oarnge the other not, both were new and never used but sitting in their field for a few months, I noticed just some normal weathering on the scarifers etc... pointed this out to them as well and these were also re-painted for me, luckily I have a great dealer)

I would bring these issues up to the dealer and if no luck than w/ Kubota. Especially if as you said there are welding splats that are now falling off and exposing bare metal. Sure these are heavy duty machines that are going to take some abuse and battle scars every now and then but better them done by you using your machine as opposed to bad quality. Good Luck!

This subject comes up now, and then. Sometimes I think there is a little buyers remorse in the motivation for complaining. By the time we are old enough to be buying these tractors, and have a use for them, we should know ourselves well enough to know how much this kind of thing is going to bother us. If we are the kind who are bothered by it, then we should darn well look over the things we buy very carefully. If we just want others to feel a bit sorry for us, that is another matter, and if we buy with a little impulse, and are somewhat sorry we spent all that money for something like this, that is another matter too. If you buy something that truly upsets you a week later when you get around to looking at it closely, then shame on you. I accept those things that might not have been visible when one purchases like a small oil leak, or a nut crossthreaded, but normally the tractor that is delivered is the one you looked at, and you had two chances to check it out. Sorry, no support for your crying from me.

Seven people replied saying their tractor and welds were Ok, perfect , and fine one replied his was like Bandmans. ChuckinNH didn't say what his looked like but I assume his are fine. Don't blame the new owner for asking and call it crying.

The new B owner is just seeing how the other new B's are. I think he got his answer. His tractor is of a lower quality then so far seven maybe eight new tractor owners.
You would have a case for buyers remorse If all the other new B's were just like his. But they are not, There is a quality problem here and it's not the New tractor owners fault as you are inferring, he has every right to get a quality tractor like you and the other 7 tractor owners, If he didn't post How would he know. It's as simple as that. This thread is going to be the same as Bandmans, The people that don't care about quality are all going to chime in and that is their right and opinion, to each his own But it's not their "New" tractor is it.

It doesn't sound like crying to me either. I think we've all learned through this thread and Bandaman's that you really need to look over the equipment before you buy it, if you actually even care about such things. If you can plunk down 20K+ on something that was poorly built, but fully functional and are not bothered whatsoever, then fine.

My dealer didn't have my tractor at his location, and I didn't look it over very carefully before I accepted delivery. It's fine, but perhaps I got lucky.

Great answer totally agree, it would be a lot different if it was their tractor that had issues

My only point was that if it was poor quality, and it upset him, he shouldn't have accepted it. It's really hard to go back to the dealer later, after you have used the tractor, and make a case about unacceptable visual things. Mine was acceptable to me, and I can't tell you if it is better, or worse than the OP's since I haven't seen any photos of what his looks like. Of course that makes it hard to say that there were 7 tractors better than his too. It is much nicer than anything I used for years when we were farming, and that's a fact. I'm sorry if I upset folks, and didn't mean to do that. My point is not that I feel his complaint is crying, but bringing it up well after it was accepted is.

Edit: On reading the OP's post more carefully, he doesn't mention that he has had the tractor for a while, or even used it. When I read it initially, I assumed that he had. My apologies!
