Good question other than like its an expensive (but useful addiction) The BX23 I use to dig ditches, move rocks and gravel and the like. The BX2360 will be used strickly as lawn mower ;having well over 5 acres cleared and declared lawn of the 84 plus acres
The L2800 I use for the plowing ,tilling, woodchipping, brush hogging... the bigger stuff. All are 4WD which comes in real handy in West Virginia as you're either going up one hill or coimg down another. I could get by with just 2, but thenI'd always have to be taking the FEL ot the BH off the BX23 for wife to mow the lawn . You don't want to make her mad.. She's the one you said we needed the new tractor...lol

Guess we were posting reply at the same time. I missed the twice as powerful part since I couldn't tell which model it was but I got pretty close on the uses part.

From a strictly utilitarian position, "most people" don't "need" multiple tractors especially those of "roughly" the same size. I doubt that the members of TBN are representative of most tractor owners. I believe the majority are equipment/tractor enthusiasts who do not view mowing a yard, moving material, pushing snow or digging holes as jobs, but rather "seat time".

Some of us have legitimate reasons such as multiple properties, but oftentimes we just like tractors.

Of course I am only guessing as I really need all my tractors...

Yes I need my tractors too(Wife watching over shoulder) and could use another for various jobs. I think I recognize that tractor at Fairplain tractor in Ripley.

Ok good everyone defended their splurge oops purposeful spending, see guys I am same like you, I have 4 cars & one Motorcycle & one tractor(52 Chevy truck, 1926 Ford Model T, 2008 Toyota Tundra, 2009 Smart Car, 2007 Honda CBR 600 RR, 2010 Kubota BX1860). See I am master of splurge and like to spend on wheels and tools. All I am wondering was why one similar and around about the same size, I would not have asked anything if you all had, 1 tractor, 1 RTV, 1 ATV, ......

Good, thatz the way to enjoy life and I like all of you interests and collections
