Congratulations, I have had my BX25 for about 6 months and really like it. That said taking the back hoe off is a breeze, putting it back on will allow you to learn new words ..... and ones not used in mixed company. Great little workhorse and perfect for my size lot.

1- Always set the brake really hard
-noted

2- Always take off the brake
-haven't forgot yet

3- Remember to drop the rops before driving into a 7' garage
- No worries I don't have a garage.:(

4- The fuel meter drops exponentially fast ... it will seem like it never moves then go through most of the range in the last 1/3 of the tank
- Haven't ran it long enough yet.

Have a great time!
- So far I is!!!

I laughed reading this, thinking I wouldn't be digging anything that extreme. Didn't take me long to realize you guys are right.

When they delivered it they did all this. They didn't move the tractor so everything went right back together. lol

Since you are from PA I know you will have some fun playing in the snow this winter. Now is the time to start hinting casually to wifey that a snowblower would be handy. :)

Have a walk behind currently but no place to house the tractor or attachments (yet).

The BX25 was delivered on a 12' trailer. the FEL was on the tongue and the backhoe had to be shifted to the side to get it to fit on the trailer.

(I still can't get quoting to work right - sorry)

Leave that thing parked in the driveway until you get a crunch plate, or set of plates.

The forum is probably tired of hearing me complain about this, but all it took was tall grass to kill my BX24. Wrapped the main drive shaft and forward drive shaft. Yanked out the wiring harness, and broke the radiator fan. Killed the front pinion seal.

I've got a full set of crunch plates installed now. Definitely sadder but wiser. These little machines are wonderful, but really deserve a better-protected undercarriage.
