New Bx25 arrived this evening!!

The aftermarket ones from Bro-Tek and BXpanded are easy to install. From what I hear, the BXpanded version is easier to put on/take off. I have a Bro-Tek rear skid plate (no BXpanded offered back then) and it permanently mounts to the rear hitch plate and to a tubular cross-member under the mid section using u-bolts. It has a swinging trap door you can open to install the MMM drive shaft. To get full coverage, Bro-Tek makes a mid section plate too, but it can't be mounted with the MMM on. Neither can the BXpanded version, but it appears to mount up pretty quickly.

Oh, also, you should have a minimal Kubota factor installed guard for the fan that they added mid production run to the BX25. It really isn't adequate for the purpose. It has to be removed to install the Bro-Tek rear plate but not the BXpanded version.

Congratulations. I love my BX25. Check out "Bxpanded" dollys for removal/attachment of backhoe and bucket. Even though removal is relatively easy without them, they really do make it so much easier to take on and off and move around the garage.

Well 3 hours on the clock and the front driveline has fallen apart. The universal joint up near the engine was laying on the ground. Looks like a pin or something fell out?? If anyone knows what it needs specifically 4WD would be helpful. I doubt I want to pay for them to haul it back for warranty work.


Found out the 48" bucket is small when digging into a bank with big rocks. LOL I am having to wedge them between the bucket on the back hoe and the arm and stand in the bucket for counter weight while the wifey drives it to the rock pile at the back of the lot.

If anyone knows what it needs specifically 4WD would be helpful. I doubt I want to pay for them to haul it back for warranty work.

Major problem like that certainly qualifies for free warranty work. With 3 hours on the clock, I'd be on the phone ranting and I wouldn't pay them to haul it! Tell them either fix it for free or you want a refund!!

I am thinking the pin broke that holds the universal on near the transfer case. I got a diagram online to see what was up. I will head to TSC or lowes tomorrow and see if I can find a pin to fit.

I called the dealership today but my salesman was off. Thought it would be fine to run but I found out I am getting stuck and needing to lock the differential to move all the time now. LOL

Wow, I'm really sorry to hear that. You should not have this kind of problem with a brand new tractor...
