Anyone see this new "C-2" or what ever it is at the store?

Being a primary Coke over Pepsi (like them both though) person, I've debated trying it, I just don't know that I want to buy a 12 pack and not like it.

Anyone try this stuff yet and have any opinion?

I don't like it. It is still too sweet to me.

It is a "diet", low-carb coke.
It has half the carbs -- thus C2.

Even at half, it still has around 12-18 carbs per can.

No wonder America is getting overweight!!!

I have tried it, and I like it. I prefer Pepsi over Coke, but this C-2 product tastes better than regular Coke to me. I'm not sure it would be considered Diet -- it's just reduced calories over regular coke -- diet drinks usually contain 1 or less calories.

I suggest buying 1 Coca-Cola C-2 out of a vending machine or convenient store to try it first. That way you don't have 11 wasted cans if you don't like the first one.

The subject heading on this thread is misleading. Coca-Cola C2 in NOT trying to be the "new" Coke -- it's just another product they are offering, just like Diet Coke, or Cherry Coke, etc.

Call me fickle, but I'll stick with JOLT COLA.

With a tag line that reads: "All the sugar and twice the caffeine of regular sodas" who could resist a brand like that!?!

We raised a family of Coke drinkers. Whenever we would go out to a restaurant, the first questions was "Coke or Pepsi". We would get some funny looks. Now that the girls are grown and on their own, they still ask the question. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The previous try was a change to the formula of Coke.

Wrong analogy.

C2 is a new product and is not meant to replace any other Coke product.
