- John Deere 4200 MFWD HST w/ JD 420 FEL w/ 61" loader bucket & toothbar & JD 37 BH w/ 12" bucket
My new first choice box blade arrived and I picked it up from the shipper last night. I left it on my trailer overnight so I could take some pictures in the daylight for everyone. What I have are pictures of it BEFORE dealer preparation (which, in the case of a box blade is probably all of a 5-10 minute task at worst).
I have to say that at first sight I am thoroughly impressed with this unit. The fit and finish and welds are all first class. The blade is two-way. The ripper/scarifiers are very heavy duty and come with replaceable tooth caps just like my toothbar for my loader bucket. It's nice to know I won't have to buy a new shank if I break off a tip on something.
Truth be told, given the way this is made I think my tractor would likely come to a stop before something like that would happen, but it's nice to know, anyhow.
I should have some better pictures of it tomorrow in it's proper form, but I wanted to get these up ASAP since there's been so much talk here about First Choice.
