what I would like to see is if you are in a form and look at the list names with new aliong with them , that you could right click the title and remove the new without visiting the form. As an examole, if you see an string on BX's and you have no interest in this string, you could right click and clear the new without loading the string and then using the back button. This way the major form would not list the new and the only thiong new was strings you did not want to read the day before, Otherwise this is a great read.

As in, a "mark this thread read" feature?

Muhammad - That's what I hope he meant - I'd love to see a "Mark this read" feature...

I would like to see the subject "not changeable", such as I did to this reply, when replying to a post. When I browse the list of recent posts, I see what I think is a new topic and end up back at a forum that I have already been to.

I have enjoyed this site very much. Thanks for all of the hard work. Sincerely, MossRoad

How about "mark all threads read in this forum forum". Or better yet automatically mark all threads read when exiting a forum.

Technically it will already do that, but only after you end your session on the forum. So you can't go re-enter a forum while still browsing and see all threads marked as read.

What I was talking about is being able to clear the new listing on threads without loading the thread, if it is something you read yeasterday and found it not important to you, the next day when you view the form and you see that thread, you could , I guess mark as read with out loading the thread. You stated that when you exit the form, all are marked as read, but it does not really do that, yes if it is a thread you have visited, but threads you have not visited will stay with the new, the next time you log on. Automatically clearing the new may not be a good idea, for some do not have time to read it all in one setting, and comes back later to continue to read. That is why I feel it should be controlled by the user. Still a great job on maintaining the site.
