Forum change looks good. I also agree that topics should not be changable.

There appears to be some HTML issues with Netscape 4.75 (use it on my HP-UX boxes) with some pictures in sig lines. I think woodstock falls into that category (if memory serves me right). Then again that version of netscape is very strict to the RFCs about all of it tags and newline characters. So not a big deal.

Muhammad,

Under View Recent Messages... would it be possible to also "sort" the subject field at the same time as the screen loads the last xx hours messages...?

Then also have a "view next message mode" so with one mouse click you can view by subject, in alphabetical and chronological order , reply on the fly, and not lose your place while reviewing... /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Those are things we'll look at adding in the future ... probably can't do them right now, though.

Conceptually, I like the idea of sub-subjects. But if this is not practical, I am firmly in the anti-transmogrification camp, with one further thought. Maybe the originator of the thread should be the only one with transmogrification rights.

Muhammad, after scanning through all these posts (and being attacked by a roving band of chipmunks /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif) I didn't see anything requesting a forum totally dedicated to "Useful Links" where we could list a topic and post a link in the body of the message. This could even be subdivided into "Tractor Related Links" and "Non-Tractor Links" so the off-topics would be separated. I don't know what everyone else thinks, but I have caught myself many times searching through multiple forums for a link that I knew was there, but just didn't know where. This forum wouldn't stop someone from posting a link in any other forum, but I think it could develop into a good resource for research. ...my two cents... I do like all your changes and I'm a big fan of this site. It's informative and fun./w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif

We'll be taking care of that with an entire links section. It's in the works.

Thanks Muhammad. I'd seen the links section, but I'm guessing that those links posted there will set by you. If we discover a good link, we can submit that to you with a request for posting? It will be a welcomed addition no matter what structure it takes.

It will be as advanced for a links directory as this is for a discussion forum. Categories, subcategories, ratings, descriptions, new links, most popular, highest rated, search, etc ... Yes, you'll be able to add links. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
