New garage time!

That motor is most likely late 20's or early 30's vintage and the lathe is an old line shaft model from the turn of the previous century. lathes.co.uk has a lot of good information on older machines if you can find any information in the castings. It won't be the most rigid machine with the long and skinny bed, but for maintenance and hobby work you will love it. Big heavy machines will destroy expensive and impossible to replace parts in a crash, machines like that will chip tools and slip belts. I bought an old South Bend about 20 years ago and it led to a career change and I am so happy to be out of software. Enjoy!

Not sure, the previous owner had it for 30 years, and it was like that when he got it. Band saw is next.

No, that is a Rustoleum rebuild. Imron goes on with a brush and you pull it away from the wall to do the backside.

Got some work done on the fence tonight in the garage. Tomorrow I'll put lateral 2x4's up and pickets and you won't be able to tell there's a gate in the front of the house.

Not sure why you created those squares in the middle of your gate?

Since you didn't put diagonal bracing in your gates, you should really run a cable from the top hinge corner to the opposite bottom cable so they wont sag on you. I would also install inside metal brackets to your corners so they don't come apart.
