New Grand L5740

Thanks All. The shop is 60'x120'. Got 110 gal. of RimGuard coming for tire ballast. Still working on other pix. Thinkin bout a video of maybe.

I need to do this for my tractors, (rimguard) but haven't had the chance to check around too much yet. Are you having someone deliver it, and do it yourself....? or..is a truck coming to your house to do it? I'm curious about delivery choices....

They come to my shop and fill the tires. Generally takes about 45 min to an hour. I don't have to do a thing but write a check.:laughing: I tried filling my own on my BX 2660. It was a big pain and took for ever. You have to hand pump the fluid (on your own) and then burp the air out periodically. I bet it took me 3 hours for 10 gal. per tire vs. 55 gal. per tire. I'm glad to just sit back and write a check on this one.

They come out in a F-450 service truck. So as long as your drive is at least 4" thick, as it should be, you'll be fine. My shop is 6" thick, but I have 80,000 GVW trucks driving around.

Thank you! I'm getting pretty excited. I gotta go shop for a stereo and speakers. I think I'll go with another "mechless" like I put in the B3030. No CD player, all digital, SD card, USB, etc, only. I wonder if they have bluetooth aftermarket radios now. Hmmmm gotta check into that.:thumbsup:

I just got my l5740 a couple of weeks ago. With the factory radio. And the speakers are awful. So I will be looking to replace them. I will also be putting in a standup rifle rack on the right side front. It makes it even harder to get in and out that door. But it the best spot I found in my l5320.
I like the bucket hooks your putting. Good luck.

I will be very interested in that modification. I have been trying to channel 4shorts while thinking of a way to do that, but it does not seem to work. (I always come up short.)

My preferred is an AR/M4 style firearm, and I want to try a muzzle-down mount.

I was thinking of a glass suction mount using something from Ram Mounts like this as a potential starting point:
