New Holland Bucket curl???

The cylinders should be connected together by a Tee. So if one cylinder leaks it can appear both cylinders are leaking. Using a piece of pipe or a metal tool put one end against the barrel aof the cylinder and listen for a leak, kind of a whooshing sound. Do so with the loader raised or while someone is helping you attempting to put downpressure on the cylinders. More than not you will find the leaking cylinder

Thank you, I will give it a try.

Raise it up and prop it. Pull lift cylinder fittings from the valve and cap them. Remove props and make a sharpie mark 1/8” away from the seal. By morning you will know if they are bypassing for certain. If your cylinders are not bypassing the next step would be load checks in the valve but your description would indicate cylinder bypass.

That is a great idea, Thank you very much. I will do it tomorrow and let you know the outcome. Do I really need to cap it, as I don't have any caps.

You will have to cap the lines to contain the fluid. When you remove the props the capped lines will be supporting the loader. If it settles at that point it can only be an internal cylinder issue.

Boom will only lift bucket of dirt 2 feet off the ground.
I lifted a bucket of dirt 2 feet off the ground and propped it, I then disconnected the hydraulic lines, then I removed the prop, so far in 2 hours time the boom has dropped about 3 inches.
My question is, is that enough leakage to keep the boom from lifting as it should, or is my problem somewhere else???
Thank you

A bulged cylinder or rolled O-ring may cause similar reactions. If it had normal lift at the ground and lost function at 2’ I would be looking at the cylinder barrel.

I ordered boom cylinder kits from Messicks for my tc30 loader, they are the Ognibene seals, for 293.00 for both cylinders. A friend steered me to McMasters- Carr, for the exact Ognibene seals for 132.00 for both cylinders. Don't understand price difference.
This is also on tractor forum.
