New Holland TN75S
Hi, I have a New Holland TN75S with error code 13.
I am confident that either a 4WD solenoid plug has become dislodged or there is a wiring issue to chassis.
As this Tractor has a cab it is hard to get to the transmission area to inspect.
This possibly has been caused by pressure washing the tractor and may have knocked a plug out....my bad.
I do not have the Workshop manual yet so I am having trouble locating the 4WD solenoid which is part number 82008511 (I think)
Does anyone have a pic or location of the solenoid so I can chase back the wiring.
Even if I can locate the Differential Lock solenoid I should be in the right area.
The TN75S is a variation number 281 when I have been looking at parts.
I have only had the tractor 5 months and plan to get the Workshop manual, which is my next query.....Where do I get a Workshop manual that has part numbers, locations and a good wiring diagram? Any recommendations...

I appreciate any informative replies,

Thank you.....

I think the transmission solenoids are on the right side of the transmission. Most likely require removing the right rear tire for access, particularly so on cab tractors.

Thank you, I considered taking the rear wheel off but hoped for an easier solution. It looks like the wheel is coming off at some point. Patrick

Hi Harry, I eventually located the solenoids which as you said would require the wheel being removed. I have 8 Ohms at the solenoid and similar at the Transmission controller so next is to see if I have 12 volts always to the solenoid indicating that it is always in 4WD. Would unplugging 4WD solenoid possibly take it out of 4WD? for testing purposes only..

I would hesitate to say you should be looking for 12 volts. Without the proper manual for that tractor and transmission options I can't say what voltage it should have. Many of the computer controlled circuits and components operate on different voltages. Anywhere from 5 volts on up. And no, unplugging the solenoid will make it full time 4WD. The front drive is spring applied and hydraulically released. The solenoid (when activated) applies pressure to release the front axle drive.
