New Holland (TC21 & 24) and Case (DX25) prices

I just paid about $4k more for a new TC24D with FEL, 60"mmm, 72" Woods blade, 52" Woods snowblower with hydraulic chute and rear remote installed on tractor, block heater, grill guard, and transportation during the warranty period. So basically, $4K for a snowblower. I would jump on that one if it is the tractor you want. I like mine so far, seems to have a lot of guts for its size. Good luck!

By the way, I could have had the TC21D for $300 less, the dealer doesn't even stock them for such an insignificant difference, but will order them if that's what you want.

I was in a similar situation: a dealer offered me a 31hour TC40D for $3000-4000 less than the best new deals I saw anywhere. It had 18 months/30 months on the warranties and hardly looked used. After buying it, I can say it was a great decision to grab the opportunity. I had warranty work done recently by a different dealer in an another state without any hassle. Even if I hated it (which I do NOT /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif) I could sell it for every penny I put into it because someone else took the depreciation hit. My advice - IF you like the tractor and it fits your needs - get it!

The check is in the mail. Unfortunately, he took the tractor to a local fair (which he told me about when I went to look at it) where he has several tractors on display, so I can't get it until next week. He has to bring it back from the fair, clean off all the finger prints, cotton candy, soda, etc /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif and then he has to do the 50 hour service on it. I did get him to knock off another $200 for making me wait.

For the record, I didn't get a hat. Got a handful of cheap pens and a couple of T-shirts. But no hat. Am I the only one who didn't get a hat?

I got two hats with my TC18 last month. I was so proud of my new blue tractor, my new blue mower, and my new blue hat. Right away I put on my hat and started mowing with my brand new tractor and immediately caught my hat on a low branch. It went under the mower before I had a chance to push in the clutch! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

I don't wear the second hat while I'm on the tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
Go figure!

A little off the topic at hand, but I thought that ABC Groff in New Holland, PA had some pretty sharp looking NH hats and shirts on their website--
