I got my GX345 with a 54 inch deck for $6600 in July (Central Illinois). Didn't have to flash cash either. Used JD credit.

You live in Tractor Country /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. Up here in the Northeast we have to fight for every penny saved. Congrats on your great deal. How do you like the machine?

Only put about 30 hours on it so far. I mow about two acres. Like it so far, no complaints. I currrently have a JD 120 and a blower that I'm retiring and probably going to be selling.

That a good deal, in Bangor PA you can get a GX345 48" deck and a 2 bag powerflow for $7835. Just the tracotr for $6999. For those prices the new diesel Kubota GR2100 can be had for $7310. Its all wheel drive and shaft driven for the deck and wheels. Not many belts to mess with.
