I got my GX345 with a 54 inch deck for $6600 in July (Central Illinois). Didn't have to flash cash either. Used JD credit.

Only put about 30 hours on it so far. I mow about two acres. Like it so far, no complaints. I currrently have a JD 120 and a blower that I'm retiring and probably going to be selling.

That a good deal, in Bangor PA you can get a GX345 48" deck and a 2 bag powerflow for $7835. Just the tracotr for $6999. For those prices the new diesel Kubota GR2100 can be had for $7310. Its all wheel drive and shaft driven for the deck and wheels. Not many belts to mess with.
