On the way home from work I stopped by the dealer and the new 4330 is in!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I couldn't believe my eyes. They said that it may take 2 days to get it put together and ready for me to drive home. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif The mechanic that was working on it asked if I wanted to come in today and help put it together. If I thought for 1 second that I could get the day off in that short of notice I would definitely be there. As soon as I get it home I'll post pictures.

Tonight I drove the loaner tractor back to the dealer. It was a very nice New Holland TC55 with an 18LA loader. It runs super smooth. About 2 miles down the road the temp gauge was in the red! so I pulled over and shut it down. It took me 5 minutes to figure out how to pop the hood. When I finally got it open I saw the fan belt came off and had bad separation in the cords. So I called the wife to come tow me the rest of the way with our F350 Powerstroke. She drove the truck and obviously forgot that I had no power steering or power brakes. At one point we were doing 25 mph. WHEEEEE!
I got to see the new tractor, still not done. They have the tires on, wheel weights, and grill guard. I'm hoping tomorrow they will get the loader on. The saga continues.

Great job on the D15. They were one of Allis Chalmers best tractors. I know a farmer that farmed 80 acres with a D15 and C. The D15 was a Series II with factory 3PT. Wish I had that tractor! Great to see another AC enthusiast.

Congrats on the new L4330 with cab. My L3430 HSTC with cab and 723 FEL is just about to turn one year old. 135 hours of productivity and enjoyment.

Thanks for the kind words. It's good that there are still a few Allis Chalmers fans left. Up until 2 years ago I had 8 AC's. I sold most of them to pay for the new Agco that I bought then. I would love to get my hands on a nice 175 or 185 diesel. I will probabily have to wait a while, I have pretty much shot the whole tractor budget for this year.

I have been waiting impatiently for my dealer to finish assembling my new Kubota so I can take delivery. I got a call yesterday and my salesman asked if I minded if the front tires were Goodyear and the rears were Firestone? He said that they would order matching brand tires if it was important to me. He then told me that it could take a few weeks more and the other Kubotas on the lot came in the same way with different tires on the front than the rear. He said he called Kubota customer service and they said that was normal practice and that the important thing is the correct tire size not brand. It would bother me more if the two rears weren't the same or if the two fronts weren't the same. Not wanting to wait a few more weeks I told them to go ahead and put on the mixed set of tires.
By the time I get this tractor I'll be needing counseling

Rick, when I bought my B7100, it came with Goodyears all the way around, but when I bought my B2710, it had tubeless Goodyears on the front and tube type Firestones on the rear. The dealer never mentioned anything about it and I didn't think to ask. It was that way when I looked at it on their lot so it was that way when delivered.

GeneD14, My new Kubota L5030 came with Titan tires on the front and Firestone on the rear. Not a problem for me. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I drove it home Friday night! On Saturday morning I used the new 4330 to tear out a concrete sidewalk and porch. Later on Saturday I roto-tilled the area around my dad's new pole barn. 3 of his neighbors came over to check out the tractor. Sunday it got washed, windows cleaned, and the hood waxed. I took some digital pictures and hopefully my wife will have time to down load them soon so I can post them ( the technology is beyond me)
What a joy to drive with the hydrostat transmission.
Some advice to other drivers: don't hit the door molding on your dad's new pole barn with the tooth bar. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
