So what is the narrowest you can set an L3560? The brochure lists the width as 59 inches.

The R1 &R4 rims/wheels are adjustable on the Grands. The bigger Grands have bigger tires (no clue if that means wheels as well), but I'm pretty sure all the axles are the same.

My L4060 is set to 72" wide with R4s, but could be set a notch or 2 narrower. I wouldnt recomend going narrower unless you really needed the clearance for something. My L4060 is sooo much more stable than my 60" track L3200, even though it's a lot taller & has the cab weight up high.

Gotta pay attention to where the measurement is taken. Normally operators manual quotes centerline of tire.

Us common folk talk outside of tire.

These are centerline dimensions below from the owners manual. According to Firestone's website a 420/70-24 is 16.7" wide so add that to the dimensions below and that should give overall width.
L3560
420/70-24 IND

1325 mm (52.2 in.) 68.9" edge to edge
1360 mm (53.5 in.) 70.2" edge to edge
1465 mm (57.7 in.) 74.4" edge to edge

I don't know why all these manufacturers can't publish real world width dimensions. It would help people to properly choose their implements for a particular model. Nothing worse than having a blower or blade that doesn't cover the tire tracks.

I know what you mean. I, fortunately, have 72" attachments for my L3301(the few I have). If I had 60" or 66" I'd have been a bit flummoxed when I did the test drive and saw how wide the L3560 really is. Having to change out every implement would have given me a bit of pause.

I presume because you can specify them with different tyres, and the different tyres have different widths. However, the centres stay the same. It's logical enough, until you realise that most people run the standard tyres, and it wouldn't be so difficult to give both the centre measurements as well as width with standard tyres.

Just got word from the dealer. Approved by Kubota. L3560HSTC-LE, LA805, 3rd function, 2 remotes. Still have to sign off on the paperwork, but I do believe I'll have one soon.

Ran into that issue with my 60" L3200 (R4s). I wanted to put on spacers to be able to run chains. But my desire not to upgrade to wider impliments won out. I new have a 72" wide L4060 & have mostly replaced narrower impliments. I had the dealer set it to 72" when I got it as a happy medium between manuverability, stability & matching some wider impliments I already had. I'm happy with the choice.

The rims on the R1s & R4s for Grands & R1s only on economy Ls are adjustable. No clue on R3 turf tires. You unbolt the rim from the wheel & mess with spacers or locations & the tire is moved closer or further from the machine. So the centers or total width changes to meet various requirements.

It use to be really important for row crop tractors. But modern CUTs really arent used for row crop type of work. It's mostly a tradeoff between stability & manuverability now.
